SMS/MMS Notifications
SMS/MMS notifictions will only be sent to you if you indicate your desire to have these sent to you via one of our online forms or if you've provided this consent verbally or in written form. We will not send unsolicited messages to your mobile number.

We respect the privacy of our customers and are committed to safeguarding their personal information. We will never sell, lease, rent, or otherwise disclose your mobile number to any third parties, unless required by law or explicitly consented by you. Following your opt-in, SMS/MMS messages that will be sent to you include updates and reminders related your account such as updates and reminders related to appointments, invoices, quotes, and surveys.

Security
All information that you enter into our website is encrypted and secured via a 2048-bit SSL certificate. This means that when you visit our website, you'll notice that the web address is always preceeded by 'HTTPS'. Some browsers will also show a lock symbol in the address bar to indicate that the site is protected with a valid SSL certificate.

When it comes to digital security, our website was built with industry best practices and is monitored and maintained by a third party who ensures that relevent software patches are applied in a timely manner.

Payment Card Processing
All payment card transactions that originate from this site are processed by Stripe. As a matter of PCI DSS compliance (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), Chicago Housework does store critical details of your payment card number on its servers. The information that is stored on our servers that pertains to your payment card includes the brand of your payment card, the last 4 digits of your payment card number, and the expiration month/year of your payment card.

Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions apply to those who have received a quotation from us, have paid for service, and/or have received service from us.

General

1) All fragile items must be secured or removed from the premises prior to cleaning.

2) All clients must provide access to hot water and power.

3) If you will not be home at the time of cleaning, you must provide us with instructions on how we can gain access to your property.

Pricing

1) We reserve the right to amend any estimates that have been provided by our service advisors or booking form. In the case of amendment, the client will be notified before service is rendered.

2) Estimates or charges relating to the first cleaning may not be indicative of the pricing of future appointments. Depending on the condition of the property, future service may be priced higher or lower. Pricing of future appointments will be discussed with the client following initial service and before subsequent appointments.

Payments

1) Payment is required prior to start of service and is processed through our website using Stripe.

Promotions

1) Any coupons used on initial booking will not be applied to future appointments.

2) No 'frequency discount' will be applied to a client's initial booking. A frequency discount will only be applied to subsequent bookings provided these bookings follow the schedule (eg. Weekly) indicated on the initial booking.

Complaints and Claims

1) In case of a complaint or claim, we must be notified within 24 hours after completion of the service.

2) Complaints are accepted over the phone and in writing (letter, email or fax).

3) We strive to ensure that each of our clients is satisfied with the value that they've received from our company. Upon receiving a complaint or claim, we will review the situation and work with the client to establish a mutually agreed upon resolution.

Cancellations

1) Cancellations or adjustments to the appointment time can be done up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled date and time of the cleaning without financial penalty.

2) Cancellations or adjustments to the appointment time that take place within 24 hours of the scheduled date and time of the cleaning will require the client to pay the full price of the originally scheduled cleaning.

3) In the event that our cleaners are not able to gain access to the property to perform the cleaning (i.e. keys don't work, turned away, etc.), the client is required to pay the full price of the cleaning.

Standard Cleaning

Approximately 2 hour clean.

Recommended for homes that have been cleaned in the last 30 days and need a touch-up to refresh them. Ideal for one-bedroom apartments and other similar size spaces.

Includes:

- Kitchen (clean sink out, countertops, cabinet faces upper and lower, stovetop)
- All exterior surfaces in all rooms
- Floors are mopped and vacuumed
- Bathroom (complete toilet clean, shower, handles, tub, drain)
- Bedroom shelving, nightstands, bed frames, tidy up bed)
- All window sills

Not included:

- All Extras are not included (must be selected for an additional cost)
- The extra time included in deep cleans allows for more detailed work in the above-mentioned Do’s.

Deep Cleaning

Approximately 3 hour clean.

Recommended for first-time clients unless your home has been professionally cleaned within the last 30 days. Ideal for homes with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms.

Included:

- Everything included in a standard clean
- Baseboards
- Light switches & Door handles
- Detailed Dusting
- Back Splashes and Faucet Fixtures are polished
- Light organization of all rooms
- Extra hour included for high-detail areas

Not included:

- All Extras are not included (must be selected for an additional cost)

Move In/Out Cleaning

Approximately 4-5 hour clean.

Recommended for those who want an all-inclusive service. This is our most detailed package and is intended to return the home someone once lived to its original state and ready for new homeowners.

- Everything in deep & standard cleans
- Inside oven
- Inside fridge
- Inside cabinets
- Inside all windows
